Two Ruthie’s for the price of one!  Jazz vocalist, Ruthie Culver, will be joining Starpoint’s Ruthie on the Good Groove Show this coming Saturday, September 21st  to talk about her debut album ‘Refashioned’ to be launched on September 30th.

Mark and Kunle will be joined by Jay Rachet, this coming Saturday 25th October between 9am and 11 am. Jay is one of Bournemouth's most prominent and knowledgeable DJs, and will also be on the DJ roster at the forthcoming Bump "n" Hustle in Bournemouth.

Ruthies Good Groove Show...
 
October 25th – Ruthie will be interviewing the talented, soul singer from Atlanta, LeNora Jaye.  LeNora was the lead vocalist for the American band, Black Rock Coalition Band Rhythm Republik , opening shows for Teena Marie, The Meters, Roger Troutman & Zapp and Roy Ayers to name but a few!  Her solo career has found her sharing stages with some of the classiest names in hip hop, pop and soul, including The Roots, Floetry, India Arie and Amel Larrieux.  Tune in to hear more about her career and her debut album, The Story!
 
And let the jazz begin…Ruthie will be interviewing two great names on the jazz scene…..

As a composer, arranger, performer and educator,  Alex Wilson is one of the UK’s foremost latin music producers, and has just released his 6th solo album 'Salsa con soul'. He has travelled over fifty countries to perform music in a multitude of projects. On November 6th he will be joining Phil for a latin-Jazz special live in the studio between 11pm - 1am GMT

Des Locke xmas party show
9pm on xmas eve for 4 hours taking us into xmas day, with special quests:-
Ruth Fisher, Ian Dewhurst, Dave W, Darren Horn, T Shirt, Glen Hoddle and Terry James in the background.

Kick off time is Saturday afternoon - 3pm 'til 5pm.
