Jez began DJ'ing in 1979 playing the latest Jazz/Funk plus Northern Soul. He first joined Starpoint back in 1990 and also presented a Starpoint show at the Southport Weekenders where he interviewed the legendary Willie Hutch. Jez has a rare and extensive collection of 45's and continues to play these records out at venues such as Northern Soul's Bisley Pavillion. His current show on Starpoint is a blend of soul, jazz, new & old funk , rare soul stompers and 70's modern. Recent interviews have included Tony Remy April Hill and Angela Johnson.
