There are so many things happening right now on Starpoint that it's becoming difficult to cram it all on the front page this week. As a consequence we will give you a few details here with a link to our special news page where you can find an in-depth look at some of latest developments on the station.

So, without further ado here's this weeks headlines....

Soul Underground

This coming weekend we feature two broadcasts of recordings from Soul Underground, a long running modern soul club night based in the Midlands. These will be broadcast from 5pm to 6pm on Saturday and 8pm to 10pm on Sunday. Further details on our News Page

New dedicated Gospel Show

We are very fortunate to have secured the services of Ms Undena Leake to present two hours of the finest gospel music every Sunday here on Starpoint. Undena is a highly respected figure in the gospel community in the States and has worked with many well known artistes including Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams and Pastor Donnie McLurkin to name but a few. We feel honoured that she has agreed to do this show for us and hope that many of you will tune in to support this new venture and to make Undena feel at home in true Starpoint style. The show will debut at 8am this coming Sunday 20th July, and you can find further details about Undena by clicking on this link.

Phil Levine Jazz show

Many of you will have heard Phil already on Starpoint whilst covering for Ruth Fisher. Phil is one of the most respected jazz dj's in the South of England and is an excellent radio presenter, so all you jazz fans out there should make a note to tune in for two hours of jazz vibes starting at 11pm each Thursday night. Shows on the move

Our schedule has been extensively revised this week to provide you with a more accurate timetable of shows following the recent changes to the on air team. Existing shows have been moved both to accommodate these new shows and also to fit in with work pattern alterations to some of the presenters day jobs. We still have a few slots remaining to finalise but expect to have these fully resolved within a week or two. The main changes to existing shows are summarised on the news page.
