Suite Soul with Bob Jeffries Tuesdays 9-11pm

Bob Jeffries has been collecting and djing now for for over 30 years.
He is now the only dj to have played at every Southport/Minehead Weekender playing the Powerhouse, Conn Corner, Beat Bar (previously the jazz room) over the years. He has also been played at every Luxury Soul Weekender both at Birmingham and Blackpool! Bob and his wife Lorna run the successful Suite Soul night in Kilmarnock  Scotland every 2 months where the music policy is quite open with soul, soulful house and dance-floor jazz on the menu. They have secured some top dj's for the night including John Morales, Terry Jones and Ricky Reid to name a few.
Bob's new show on Starpoint will reflect the music policy of his nights in Kilmarnock which follows the ethos of play everything in the one room.

Chris ''The Shirt'' Tuedsays 5pm-7pm

Chris ''The Shirt'' Elliott was brought up in SE London on a diet of Reggae,Soul and Jim Reeves(blame his Jamaican dad for that one).
Soulful or Funky House,RnB,Reggae,Ska,Rare Grooves and of course the best of Soul music are just some of the music genres which he enjoys listening to and will be in his shows on Starpoint in some shape or form.He started playing on internet radio a few years back on the original Sunrisefm and since then his stations have included the now defunct Vinylmorpher Radio and lately Platinum Grooves Radio of which he was part owner. His been known to hit the floors on various dance floors at Soul nights and of course the infamous Caister Soul Weekenders but as his got older its more of a crawl rather than a spring.Look out for ''Shirtys'' shows here on Starpoint and hope you enjoy his shows.

Treble and Reverb

Her voice is a cross between Lauryn Hill and India.Arie, while her music is pure ?60s girl group cotton candy. It?s an odd juxtaposition that only occasionally works as high art, but is rarely less than entertaining. Produced by co-writers Evan Short and Pete Wadams with all the sheen of a major label record, and its accompanying manufactured feel of assembly line soul, Treble & Reverb is both a great pop record and a somewhat artificial soul product. The problem with this 2012 release from New Zealand that?s just beginning to find its legs in the U.S.read more
